As a part of Vintech Pacific’s investment in our extensive and ongoing program of research and service development, our North Island Manager, Brett Barnes is in California for the next two weeks.
While he’s there, Brett will be working with our partners at Agrovin, Conetech and Wine Secrets to develop our engineering and service knowledge. Brett will not only gain hands-on experience with the operation of the latest technologies that Vintech Pacific is acquiring but on their maintenance and engineering requirements too.
On his return, Brett’s experience will mean our teams around the country will be better trained and prepared for the roll-out of our new services as we introduce them. It is one thing to have the latest technology and equipment but delivering the best results for our customers means bringing hands on experience and understanding of its technical operation and capabilities to our wine technicians.
And when gear does go down, we’ll be equipped with the know-how to get it back up and running quicker, avoiding costly delays or down-time for our clients.
He will also work with Contech who have recently supplied us with our new Spinning Cone Column distillation technology that has just arrived in New Zealand and has now completed its commissioning.
And he’ll catch up with the team at Wine Secrets, our US partners in a range or cutting-edge wine industry technologies as mobile services, including our new Test Track Benchtop Laboratory developed to demonstrate our Reverse Osmosis and Ultrafiltration services on a sample of your wine, in your lab.
Brett’s trip is all part of our commitment, as New Zealand’s leading provider of mobile production technologies to the wine industry, to investing in the best ideas and the best people, to bring them to the New Zealand wine industry, one of this country’s most important export revenue earners.
