Vintech Pacific have recently commissioned a new distillation plant at Riverlands in Blenheim, for the production of wine spirit (beverage ethanol), from exclusively New Zealand wines. The capacity to produce approximately 300,000 litres of high purity, high-strength wine spirit per annum, makes Vintech Pacific one of the leading producers of wine spirit in New Zealand.
Our New Zealand wine spirit is ideal for fortification of wines, as a base for flavoured spirits like vodka and gin and in the production of other adult drinks such as RTDs. It’s New Zealand wine origin makes our spirit a convenient, efficient and cost competitive replacement for glycol in winery refrigeration plants.
NZ Neutral Wine Spirit
(90% abv)
Premium quality, high-strength, New Zealand neutral wine spirit, sourced exclusively from New Zealand wines. Suitable for fortification of wines, prestige spirit production or the manufacture of RTD and other packaged drink products.
New Zealand Grape Spirit
(55% abv)
Premium quality non-neutral grape spirit, sourced exclusively from New Zealand wines. Suitable for fortification of wines, prestige spirit production or the manufacture of RTD and other packaged drink products.
Coolant Ethanol
(24% abv)
Non-flammable refrigeration ethanol at a concentration of 24% ABV. This concentration is used because it keeps the solution below the threshold for classification as a flammable liquid under safety standards like AS1940, while still providing freezing protection to reach temperatures of approximately -16° C.
